" The Path to Heaven: Hadith Wisdom by Muaz bin Jabal r.a "

Hadith 29

From, Muaz bin Jabal r.a, said: " Inform me of a deed that will allow me to enter heaven and keep me away from hell. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings, upon him) replied: 'Actually, you have asked a great matter, and indeed it is very easy for whoever is made easy'.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings, upon him) continued, " By Allah Ta'ala, that is: 'You should worship Allah and not associate Him with anything else. You should establish prayer, give zakat, fast for a month of Ramadan and perform Hajj to Baitullah ".

Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings, upon him) said again: " Do you want me to tell you the principles of good deeds its pillar and its peak? " I replied: "I want, O Messenger of Allah." Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings, upon him) said: "The root of practice is Islam, its pillar is prayer and its peak is jihad." 

Then the Prophet said again: "Do you want me to tell you the key to all these things? " I replied: "I want, O Messenger of Allah." Then he held his tongue and said: "Be careful, take care of this." I asked: "O Messenger of Allah, will we be prosecuted for speaking with him? ". 

He then answered : " And people will not be thrown on their faces or the bridge of their noses into hell, but the result of their speech. "

And let My servant always worship Me with nawaitu (circumcision worship) until I love him. So when I have loved him, I will surely be his hearing that he listens to, and as his blinding. with which he sees, and as his hand with which he acts, and as his foot with which he walks.
