From Abu Abdul Rahman, Abdullah bin Mas'ud r.a, he said that the Messenger of God SAW told us, while he was a truthful person and his words were justified, his words: 'Indeed, one of you was gathered in his mother's womb for 40 days in the form of a drop of semen, then it becomes a blood clot for the same amount of time, then a piece of flesh like that too, which is 40 days. Then an angel was sent to him, then a spirit was breathed into him and he was ordered to write down four things: his sustenance, his death, his deeds, his woes and his happiness. So by Allah, who has no god but Him, surely one of you will continue to practice the deeds of the people of heaven until he is only a cubit away from heaven. Suddenly he was preceded by his writing (destiny letter) until he did the deeds of the people of hell, then he entered hell. And indeed, one of you will continue to practice the deeds of the people of hell until there is only a cubit between him and hell. Suddenly he was preceded by his writing until he practiced the deeds of the people of heaven, so he finally entered heaven.
