From Ummul Mu'minin, Ummi Abdullah Aisyah r.a. he said: " The Prophet SAW said: ' Whoever invents something in a religion that is not from him is rejected '", ~ narrated from Al-Bukhari and Muslim. 

And in another narration by Imam Muslim: 
" Whoever does an act that is not from our command, then it is rejected ".
